Fake CBI officer reaches real jail, everyone is surprised to see his courage

Basti (Uttar Pradesh): Police has arrested a fake CBI officer in Basti district of Uttar Pradesh. After reaching the police station, he was overpowering the inspector. Actually, a person had reached Kaptanganj police station last Thursday. He introduced himself as an officer of Delhi CBI Cyber Cell and started bullying the police station officer. To avoid suspicion on the part of the police officer, he was speaking English fluently.

He told the police station officer that he had been sent from Delhi for special investigation of the Deoria incident. A vehicle should be provided for him so that he can leave Deoria. The man’s words intensified the commotion in the police station. Meanwhile, the Inspector asked for identity card from the person claiming to be a CBI officer. On which he got angry at the police station officer.

While shaking his head he said that how can you ask the CBI officer for his ID. When the police station officer put pressure on the man to reveal his true identity, he started getting into trouble. But within a short time his reality came to light. When the police forcibly checked the fake officer, he was identified from the Aadhaar card recovered from him as Chandramani Verma, resident of Sarai Police Station Kotwali, Gandhinagar District Basti.

During interrogation, he also described an MLA as his relative to put pressure on the police. After the truth came out, the person started trying to escape from there. However, the police took him into custody. During interrogation, he told that he was coming from Harraiya. He has to go to Basti city. During police interrogation, the accused confessed that he had thought that by going to the police station and defeating the CBI, he would get a government vehicle to go to the city. But in this matter he reached jail.

In this matter, Alok Kumar (Deputy SP) said that the matter is being investigated. The arrested person has been challaned under the section of breach of peace and presented in the court. The matter will be thoroughly investigated.
