Raipur: The accused of Bairanbazar robbery have been arrested. As soon as the applicant fell down, two of the three persons traveling in the said two-wheeler came near the applicant and started snatching the bag full of money from the applicant while threatening to kill him. When the applicant protested, the said persons kept it with themselves. They attacked the applicant with a blade and looted the bag of money kept with him and ran away. On which crime number 435/23 section 392, 34 Bhadvi has been registered against unknown accused in the police station. The crime of was registered.
On which, the joint team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and Kotwali police station started making detailed inquiries of the nearby people including the applicant regarding the incident and locating the unknown accused. Team members installed CCTV cameras in and around the incident site. Along with scanning the camera footage and collecting information regarding the two-wheeler used by the unknown accused during the incident, efforts were being made by the team members to identify the unknown accused by appointing informers in the case. Meanwhile, the team engaged in the arrest of unknown accused received important information regarding Hrithik Keswani, a resident of Tikrapara, who was involved in the incident and who had previously been detained in jail in a robbery case, on which the team members traced Hrithik Keswani and arrested him. Caught. On strict questioning regarding the incident, accused Hrithik Keswani was said to have carried out the said incident along with his associates Anup Biswas and Sameer alias Mukhtar Khan. On which the accused Anup Biswas and Sameer alias Mukhtar Khan, involved in the incident, were also arrested by the team members. All three accused were arrested and action was taken against the accused by seizing the looted cash amount of Rs 14,700/-, tiffin box, bag and agency key and Activa vehicle number CG/04/NG/1923 and 01 blade used in the incident.
