Illegal firecracker seller arrested
Raigarh. The police took action against illegal firecracker shop operators in the district and arrested a firecracker seller. On the direction of Senior Superintendent of Police Sadanand Kumar and under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjay Mahadeva, SDOP Dharamjaygarh Deepak Mishra, continuous action is being taken by keeping an eye on various activities regarding the assembly elections. In the same sequence, yesterday, during patrolling in the area, on information from the informer, under the leadership of Lailunga Police Station Inspector Mohan Bhardwaj, on the information of illegal sale of firecrackers by Kanhaiya Aggarwal in Lailunga-Raigarh Road and by Kamlesh Aggarwal in the grocery shop of village Jhagarpur. Raid action was taken.
Both the persons – Kanhaiya Aggarwal (46) and Kamlesh Kumar Aggarwal (42) were given notice by the Lailunga police staff to produce valid documents regarding possession and sale of firecrackers, but they failed to produce valid documents due to which various items were seized from the possession of both the persons. By seizing all types of firecrackers, due action has been taken under the Explosives Act at Lailunga police station. Inspector Mohan Bhardwaj, Assistant Sub Inspector Chandan Singh Netam, Head Constable Parmeshwar Paikra, Constable Hellarus Tirkey and Raju Tigga had special contribution in the action.
