Poison in school water tank
Patna: Lives of hundreds of children were saved in Patna. The attackers mixed poisonous substance in the school’s water tank, but this information was received in time and today a serious accident was averted. Who knows what would have happened if the school children had drank the water from the tank. The incident took place at the Government High School located in Tharet Pali village of Naubatpur.
He says that like every day, teachers and children came to school on Saturday also. Meanwhile the children opened the tap to drink water. When the children smelled a strong smell while turning on the tap, they informed their teachers. After getting information about the incident, there was panic in the school administration. The school administration informed the district authorities and police about the incident. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of Naubatpur police station reached the school and stopped the water supply in the school.
When the police opened the lid of the water tank they smelled an unpleasant smell and the color of the water changed. The medical team was informed about the incident. The team reached the spot and collected water sample and took it to the laboratory. In this regard, Principal Kumari Khushboo has lodged a written complaint at Naubatpur police station. It was fortunate that none of the children drank the water, otherwise a serious accident could have happened today.
