Elderly woman dies in accident
Pakur: A horrific road accident took place in Pakur district in which an elderly woman died while two people were seriously injured in the accident. Actually, this incident took place near Sahebganj-Govindpur Express Highway Gamhariya in Littipara police station area, where an unknown vehicle hit three people riding a bike. Due to which an elderly woman died while a three year old innocent and a man were seriously injured.
It is being told that a person named Dhulu Marandi (55 years old), along with his 75 year old mother Hopani Marandi and three year old innocent child, were returning from the guest house to their home in Bansjori village of Littipara police station area on their motorcycle. Meanwhile, suddenly near Gamhariya, an unknown vehicle hit them hard from behind due to which they all fell on the road. After hitting the bike, the unknown vehicle fled from there.
After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and admitted the woman, three-year-old child and the man to the community health center for treatment, but during treatment there, the doctors declared the woman dead. In this case, police station in-charge Arunima Bage said that the matter is being investigated.
