Vicky wished Virat on his birthday
Mumbai: Bollywood actress Vicky Kaushal on Sunday wished Indian cricketer Virat Kohli on his 35th birthday and said it was a happy occasion as the World Cup match between India and South Africa would be played on the same day.
During the World Cup match between India and South Africa, Vicky said, “On my part, Vicky Kaushal, I wish our superstar VK (Virat Kohli) a very happy birthday… It’s a very… happy and It’s a special occasion.” Because the India-South Africa match falls on his birthday. That’s why it becomes doubly special.
“Virat Kohli played some great innings at Eden Gardens, so I am really looking forward to this match,” he said.
On Saturday, the actor shared a video on social media in which he is seen wearing a blue T-shirt with ‘India’ written on it and ‘Sam’ written on the back. He captioned the video: “Supporting India in tomorrow’s historic India vs South Africa match…Sam will be there!!!”
The 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup will be telecast live on Disney Plus Hotstar and Star Sports Network.
On the work front, Vicky is prepping for the upcoming biopic Sam Bahadur based on the story of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
Produced by RSVP Movies, the film directed by Meghna Gulzar will release in theaters on December 1.
