WhatsApp brought new update
WhatsApp: WhatsApp has given a big gift to iPhone users in this festive season. iPhone users can now send their photos and videos on WhatsApp in high quality. WABetaInfo, a website tracking the new WhatsApp feature, first spotted this feature and said in a report that the new feature will allow iOS users to send photos and videos as documents. During this time, the media quality will remain intact. Earlier, this feature was available only on Android. Was available for users, but now it is also for iOS devices
WABetaInfo reported that the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.23.1.74 update, which can be accessed through the TestFlight app, has provided this feature for some iOS users. Users can now select photos and videos from their gallery and send them as documents, bypassing the usual compression that often degrades quality.
As you can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp has released a new feature to allow users to select photos and videos from their gallery. By sending a photo or video as a document, users can ultimately retain its original quality by sending it without compression or quality loss. WhatsApp has said that documents up to 2GB in size can be shared. This feature was currently seen in WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.3.0.76 update. Its availability is currently limited but it is expected that it will be available to everyone in the coming weeks. This feature can be very useful for those who want to share photos and videos in original quality.
