Car and cycle collide, two school students injured

Korba: A car driver hit two schoolgirls going to school at NTPC gate in Jamnipali area. Both the students were seriously injured in the accident and were immediately taken to NTPC Divisional Hospital. The incident happened today Monday morning.

According to the information received, both the students, residents of Jalgaon Prem Nagar, study in NTPC Public School and on Monday morning, when they were going to school on a bike, they had a serious collision with a car. The victims are being treated at NTPC Departmental Hospital.

It is being told that the accident is of an NTPC employee living in Pushpapallav Colony. He was traveling from Jalgaon Chowk towards NTPC Colony with his family. It is being told that the driver was taking a patient to the hospital, when the car collided with two girl students riding a bicycle. Police have taken the accident to Darri police station and are investigating further.
