Saharanpur: In a madrasa in Titron area of Saharanpur, UP, a 10-year-old child was tied with chains and beaten in the name of making him a human being. All limits of inhumanity to the child were crossed. The child was kept hostage for two days. During this period he was not even given food. During the night, somehow the child ran away and hid in a corner of the neighboring village, three kilometers away. When the villagers saw him in the morning, they asked his name and address and informed the family.
Early in the morning, people were surprised to see a 10-year-old child tied in chains in the neighborhood of Ramkumar, a resident of village Mohammadpur Gurjar in Titro police station area of Saharanpur district. When Ramkumar’s family members reached there, they asked about the child. The child narrated the story of the inhumanity meted out to him in the madrassa. During this time many people of the village gathered there.
When asked, the child revealed himself to be a resident of the neighboring village Ballu. He told that his father works as a hawker in Bihar. His mother sent him to study in a madrasa. The child told that Qari beat him in the madrasa and tied him away with an iron chain on his hands and legs. The child also alleged that despite his mother having sent food, he was not given food.
As soon as the information was received, the child’s family members also reached Mohammadpur Gurjar village. They took the child with them. On the other hand, Kari says that the child was in bad company. This step was taken to scare. Kari could not answer the question as to why no information was given to the family about the child. Then who gave him permission to do such inhuman acts with a child under any circumstances.
When asked about this, Saharanpur SP Dehat Sagar Jain said that a police team will be sent to him and the matter will be investigated. Appropriate action will be taken after investigation. If inhumanity has been done to the child then the culprit will not be spared.
