Low pressure will develop over the Bay of Bengal
Bhubaneswar: A low pressure area is likely to develop over the Bay of Bengal within the next 24 hours. It is likely to turn into a depression by November 16. This is according to the prediction of the Indian Meteorological Department.
According to IMD’s estimate, it may intensify further or take a different form later. On the other hand, international meteorologist Jason Nicholls has predicted that the low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal may turn into a cyclonic storm.
Nicholls predicts the low pressure area will likely develop into a cyclonic storm by the end of the coming week. The cyclonic storm is likely to have a significant impact on north-eastern India and Bangladesh. Under its influence, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry may receive rain in the latter half of the week.
