Young man shot dead
Rohtak. The series of murders between Anil Chhipi and Chhaju gang in Karor village of the district is not stopping. Today, on the day of Diwali, the village once again echoed with the sound of bullets and a young man of about 25 years was shot dead with a dozen bullets. The deceased youth Mohit Anil belonged to Chhipa gang and was currently out of jail on bail.
So far, about 20 murders have taken place in this gang war. Police are currently busy investigating this matter and are claiming to arrest the accused soon. After this massacre, there is an atmosphere of panic among the villagers and a demand has been raised to provide police protection to the family of the deceased.
When around 25 year old Mohit was going home from the farm today, as soon as he entered the village, the killers were waiting for him on a bike in the street and they opened fire on Mohit. To save his life, Mohit even ran into a street but he could not save himself. The firing can be gauged from the fact that Mohit was hit by about a dozen bullets.
Due to which he died on the spot. It is being told that Mohit Anil belonged to Chhipi gang and was currently out on bail in connection with a case. The deceased’s nephews Neeraj and Vikas were with Mohit when this incident occurred. He told that there were eight people who committed the murder and they also fired at him, but he survived. He told that there were many people along with Jatin among the attackers, who had carried out this entire massacre.
After receiving information about the incident, IMT police station and DSP Rakesh Malik reached the spot and FSL team was also called to the spot for investigation. After investigation, the body has been sent to Rohtak PGI for post-mortem.
DSP Rakesh Kumar says that this incident happened due to gang war between Anil Chhipi and Chhaju gang. At present, teams have been formed in this case and the killers will be arrested soon.
It is noteworthy that the rivalry between Anil Chhipi and Chhaju gang has been going on for almost 20 years and till now around 20 murders have taken place. Not only this, on the day of Diwali in 2008, two women were also murdered by Chhaju gang.
