Two different reports complicated the case

Shimla. After the NSG report came out regarding the investigation of the blast at Himachal Rasoi restaurant in Shimla, the functioning of the State Forensic Science Lab has been questioned. On the basis of the results of the State Forensic Lab, the police solved hundreds of murder, rape and paper leak cases, now the functioning of the same State Forensic Science Lab has been questioned. In such a situation, questions are being raised as to what could be the reason that the police department had to call the NSG team to investigate the blast case.

Apart from this, seizure memos are made to collect facts and evidence in the criminal procedure court, whether the NSG team has made seizure memos or not. The image of the State Forensic Science Lab has also been tarnished after two different types of reports came in the blast case. The report of the State Forensic Lab is telling something else and the report of NSG is telling something else. It may be noted that on July 18 last evening, there was a massive explosion in a restaurant named Himachal Rasoi.

Many shops in Mall Road and Middle Bazaar were damaged due to the blast. To investigate the case, within 24 hours the police team sent about one and a half dozen pieces of evidence to the State Forensic Lab for testing. In the investigation report of the forensic lab, the cause of the blast was said to be gas leakage, whereas in the report of the team that came to investigate the matter a few days after the blast, the cause of the blast was said to be explosive material.

The NSG team also investigated the affected area with the dog squad. In the case of the blast at Himachal Rasoi restaurant in Shimla, the NSG report stated that the cause of the blast was explosive material, while the state forensic report stated that the cause of the blast was gas leakage.
