Acid attack before becoming a bride, 10 police teams started arresting the accused

Maharajganj: A sensational incident has come to light from Maharajganj in UP. Where late on Thursday evening a man threw acid on a girl. Due to this she got badly burnt. By the time the people around could understand anything, the young man had run away. The girl was immediately taken to Gorakhpur for treatment. Where his condition remains critical. On the other hand, after receiving information, police also reached the spot.
This case pertains to a village in Bhitauli police station area of Shikarpur. It is being told that the girl had gone to Maharajganj market with her mother on Thursday. From there, as soon as the girl and her mother got down from the tempo near the village, a young man coming on a scooter threw some substance in a bottle on the girl and ran away towards Maharajganj. According to eyewitnesses, the attacker was wearing a mask on his face. According to people, seeing the condition of the girl, she was referred to Gorakhpur from a private hospital. According to the information, the girl was going to get married after a few days.

As soon as information about the incident was received, CO Sadar Ajay Singh Chauhan along with Bhitauli SO Ramagya Singh and Sadar Kotwal Anand Gupta reached the spot along with the police force. SP Dr. Kaustubh also reached the spot and investigated. While giving information about the case, SP said that according to doctors, the girl has 5 to 10 percent burn injury. A case will be registered after taking a complaint. The accused is being identified on the basis of electronic evidence. 10 police teams have been deployed to take action in the case. In which 6 teams, 2 SWAT teams and 2 other teams headed by the station in-charge have been deployed for raids. Also, the forensic team is busy collecting evidence.
