Three terrorists killed in firing

Srinagar: Three terrorists were killed in an ongoing encounter with security forces in D.H. Pora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, sources said on Friday.

A senior police officer said three bodies have been seen, but they have not been recovered yet as the operation has not been completed.

The firing started on Thursday after a joint team of police and security forces received information about the presence of terrorists in the area.

After the security forces surrounded the area, the terrorists hiding there started firing, after which the security forces also retaliated.

In recent times, there have been a series of encounters between terrorists and security forces across Kashmir, in which many terrorists have been eliminated.
