Fire in Sadar Bazar shops brought under control, no casualty reported
New Delhi (IANS) | Several shops caught fire in Delhi’s Sadar Bazar area on Monday. An official said that there was no news of any casualty in this. According to the officials of the fire department, as soon as the officials received the information about the fire in the shops located on Bahadurgarh Road Gali No. 2, Faiz Ganj, Sadar Bazar at around 11:30 am, a total of 11 fire tenders were called to control the fire. Immediately dispatched to the scene.
It is a matter of pride that there is no news of any casualties or injuries so far.
Delhi Fire Service (DFS) director Atul Garg said, “Fire personnel have brought the blaze under control and efforts are on to douse it completely.”
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and is currently under investigation.
