Dead body of minor couple found hanging in nursery
Bishrampur : In Bishrampur area, a sensation has spread after the dead body of a minor couple was found hanging from a noose in the nursery. Kishore is a resident of Bishrampur area while Kishori is a resident of Lundra area. Bishrampur police reached the spot on information from people on Saturday afternoon. While they were in the process of removing the body, the deceased’s family members created a ruckus, fearing murder. Because of this, it is now being said that the bodies of the love couple will be exhumed on Sunday in the presence of forensic experts.
The dead body of a couple was found hanging in a chunri on Saturday afternoon in the nursery of Gram Panchayat Karampur under Bishrampur police station area of Surajpur district. The lover was identified as 17-year-old Muneshwar Toppo alias Pilo, son of Kalri worker Devsai Toppo, resident of Gram Panchayat Karampur Badkhapara. While the girlfriend has been identified as Chhoti, resident of Gram Panchayat Udari of Lundra police station area. Deceased Muneshwar Toppo had left home on November 16, saying he was going to the market, but did not return home.
When the villagers went towards the nursery on Saturday, they saw the bodies of both of them hanging in the same chunri and immediately informed the police. As soon as the information was received, TI Ulrich Lakra and Assistant Sub-Inspector Sohan Singh reached the spot with their team. The police were about to remove the dead bodies when the relatives of the deceased started creating ruckus, suspecting murder. On this, the police returned empty handed without removing the dead bodies from the noose. TI Ulrich Lakra said that due to the uproar in the case, the bodies of the love couple were not taken down from the gallows on Saturday. Bishrampur TI said that the investigation will be started after exhuming the bodies of both in the presence of forensic experts on Sunday. He told that the reasons for suicide will be known only after PM.
