Jewelery and cash stolen from retired army man

Durg: In the district, unknown thieves targeted the abandoned house of a retired army man. The thieves broke the lock of the house and stole jewelery worth lakhs and Rs 40 thousand in cash from inside. The matter is of Kumhari police station area. Keshav Yadav (54), resident of Parsada Kumhari, has lodged a complaint of theft at Kumhari police station. He told that he lives at home with his wife and daughter and is retired from the army. To celebrate the festival of Diwali on November 11, he and his family had gone to their village Indawali under Rajnandgaon district after locking the house.

He told that when he returned home on November 15, he saw that the lock of the main door in front of the house was broken. The interlock of the main gate was also broken. When I went inside, I found all the stuff in the bedroom scattered and the cupboard broken. Seeing the cupboard door open, he immediately called his neighbours. Everyone went inside and saw that a theft had taken place. After this he called Kumhari police station and called the police. Police have registered the case and are busy investigating. Till the time of writing the news, the thieves have not been found.
