Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy took a dig at BJP

Hyderabad (ANI): Terming the Bharatiya Janata Party’s manifesto for Telangana elections as ‘waste paper’, Telangana Congress President Revanth Reddy on Sunday said the poll promises made by the BJP have no relevance as they have no stake in the state. Is.
Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, Revanth Reddy said, “The BJP manifesto here is a useless paper. There is no need to discuss BJP’s manifesto because they have no stake here. BRS manifesto and BJP manifesto are the same.” ,
Revanth Reddy further said that the people in Telangana do not trust BJP and it will not get a chance to serve the people in the state.

He said, “People here do not trust him. Whatever promises he made, he did not fulfill them. We look at the manifesto in the same way.”
As assembly elections are to be held in Telangana on November 30, Union Home Minister Amit Shah released the BJP manifesto in Hyderabad on Saturday and said the assurances made in the manifesto are ‘PM Modi’s guarantee’ to the public.
BJP has decided to officially celebrate Hyderabad Liberation Day on 17 September every year. The party said it will form a drafting committee on the Uniform Civil Code. The party further said that it will provide free laptops to girl students taking admission in undergraduate degree or professional college courses.

The BJP also assured to provide coverage of Rs 10 lakh per eligible family per year for secondary and tertiary care in public and private hospitals. BJP also said that it will provide free Ram Temple and Kashi Yatra for senior citizens and a Chief Minister from the OBC community was one of its key promises.

Reacting to the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) manifesto on removing “unconstitutional religion-based reservations”, Congress leader and former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin on Saturday said reservation is all over India and you have to give quota.

“The BJP has said in its manifesto that it will remove unconstitutional religion-based reservation and provide it to OBCs, SCs and STs.” Mohammad Azharuddin said, reservation is all over India, you have to give reservation.
Assembly elections will be held in Telangana on November 30 and counting of votes along with four other poll-bound states is scheduled for December 3.

In the last assembly election in 2018, the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), formerly known as Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), won 88 of the 119 seats, securing 47.4 per cent of the total vote share. Congress stood second with only 19 seats. (ANI)
