Jarange-Patil will address rally in Kashimira on 21st November
Mira-Bhayandar: Firebrand quota activist Manoj Jarange-Patil, who is leading the fight to secure reservation for the Maratha community, will visit the twin city on Tuesday, November 21. He will address the Maratha community living in and around the Mira-Bhayandar region. At a public meeting near Jari-Mari lake in Kashimira tomorrow at 2 pm.
He is likely to talk to media persons after the rally. Officials and volunteers of Mira Bhayandar Sakal Maratha Samaj are in the process of making elaborate arrangements for the meeting, which is expected to attract a huge crowd of Maratha community members.
Jarange’s statewide tour will end on December 24
Jarange began the second phase of his statewide tour on November 16, which will end on December 24, the deadline set by the state government for providing Kunbi caste certificates to all Marathas.
With an aim to boost their confidence and strengthen their resolve that they will definitely secure reservation, Jarange-Patil is engaged in interactions with members of the Maratha community during his ongoing tour. His visit to Kashimira assumes significance as the area falls in Thane district, which is considered the home turf of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The assembly constituency is represented by Pratap Sarnaik of Shiv Sena.
