Yellow alert for all the districts of Ujjain division
Indore: While day and night temperatures in the city have been fluctuating for the last few days, the regional meteorological department has predicted three days of rain in south-west Madhya Pradesh, including Indore division, from November 25 to 27. .
Apart from this, meteorological department officials have issued ‘Orange’ alert of rain and storm in Indore, Khargone, Dhar, Barwani, Alirajpur and Jhabua on November 26, while ‘Yellow’ alert has been issued for all the districts of Ujjain division. .
“A fresh western disturbance will move towards northwest India as an upper level trough extending to east-central Arabian Sea off Gujarat-Maharashtra-Goa coasts on November 25 and 26.
As a result, the above trough in mid-latitude westerly winds at the mid and upper troposphere level will interact with the lower level trough in easterly winds,” said Dr Ved Prakash Singh, senior scientist at the Indian Meteorological Department.
According to Singh, “Madhya Pradesh will see light to moderate rainfall at many places with thunderstorm and lightning at isolated places during November 24 and 27 with maximum activity on November 26.”
He further said, “There is a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning along with hailstorm in south-west Madhya Pradesh on November 26. “This will reduce the day temperature by 2-3 degrees Celsius but the night temperature will increase by 1-2 degrees Celsius.” ,
Also, “After the impact of this system subsides, day and night temperatures will start decreasing and winter will begin.”
The maximum temperature recorded in Indore city on Thursday was 29 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 16 degrees Celsius, which was three degrees above normal. Also, the humidity in the city was 63 percent on Thursday morning and 52 percent in the evening.
