Head constable murdered constable’s son
Gwalior : Head constable Sukhveer Rajawat, posted in 13 battalion Special Armed Forces (SAF) in Gwalior, MP, attacked and killed his son Anurag, posted in SAF Bhopal, with a sharp weapon. After the murder, he got the body disposed of with the help of his younger son and his friend. The police have taken all three accused into custody in the incident that took place late at night. Head constable Sukhveer Rajawat is posted in 13 battalion SAF in Gwalior. His son Anurag Rajawat, age 32, is posted as constable driver in SAF in Bhopal.
Anurag was addicted to drinking alcohol, due to which his family members were not talking about his marriage. Anurag was angry about this. He even kept arguing with his family every day for not taking the matter of marriage forward. Three days ago, Anurag reached his father’s government residence in Gwalior from Bhopal. At that time mother Rekha Rajawat had gone to a relative’s house in Bhopal. Late last night, father Sukhveer had a fight with his son Anurag over the issue of marriage.
Anurag was also blaming his parents for not getting married. Meanwhile, Sukhveer attacked Anurag with a sharp weapon and killed him. After the murder, Sukhveer got the body disposed of with the help of his younger son Govind and his friend Bhim Singh Parihar. The police took all three into custody in the case. Police officials said that around 1.30 in the night, three people were seen going on a motorcycle in the Girwai police station area, but when the police stopped them, they did not stop.
After some time, when he returned on the motorcycle, the third person was not there. On suspicion, the police started investigation, after going some distance they found Lakh in the bushes near the boundary of 13 Battalion SAF. The dead body was stiff, marks of hands and legs being tied with rope were found. Serious head injury was visible. Taking the investigation forward, the police took the accused father Sukhveer Rajawat, younger son Govind and his friend Bhimsingh Parihar into custody and interrogated them and the whole matter came to light.
