Tree branches broke and fell during prayer meeting in school, children and teacher injured

Muzaffarpur: Several children were injured when several branches of a huge tree suddenly fell during a prayer meeting in a government school in Meenapur block of Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. A teacher is also reported injured in this accident.

According to the police, a prayer meeting was going on on Friday in the Government Primary School premises located in Mothahan Mal village of Meenapur block, in which school children and teachers were included. Meanwhile, a branch of a banyan tree located in the school grounds came and fell on the children and teachers standing below.

According to the school teacher, five children and a teacher have been injured in this accident. With the help of local people, all the injured have been admitted to SKMCH. After receiving information about the incident, police and education department officials arrived and investigated the matter. All the injured are said to be out of danger.
