Three people died in two separate road accidents
Doda: Two people were killed and the driver injured in a road accident during the night in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir. Sources said that a Tata mobile fell into a gorge about 250 feet deep on Tanata Gandana Road in Doda, due to which two people died on the spot, while its driver was injured. The driver, identified as Aaqib Gulzar, has been shifted to Government Medical College, Doda for treatment, he said.
The deceased have been identified as Mir Ali son of Noor, resident of Kanthal and Zafarullah son of Talib Hussain, resident of Dandi Bala. Meanwhile, the police have registered a case in this regard and started investigation. Meanwhile, a motorcyclist died in another road accident today on Doda Adhyayanpur Link Road in Doda district. The accident occurred when the motorcycle collided with another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. Meanwhile, a motorcycle fell into a deep ditch, due to which the rider died on the spot.
Let us tell you that on 15th of this month, at least 38 passengers were killed and 18 others were injured in a tragic road accident in Asar area of Doda. While the Pir Panchal region of Jammu province is known for its beauty and breathtaking views, the region is also infamous for the worst traffic accidents. Accidents are happening every day from Banhal to Rambin on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway, while on the Bitot-Kishtwar Highway in Asar area of Doda district. In September, four members of a family were killed in a traffic accident on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway. Last month, two members of the same family had died in another accident. In February this year, an engineer died in a traffic accident in Doda. Whereas last year, four people had died in a car accident in the same district, out of which three were engineers.
