Ollywood producer Sanlisha calls off protest staged in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Ollywood producer Sanlisha called off the protest staged in Bhubaneswar in front of the Legislative Assembly, said reports on Tuesday.According to reports, the protest had been called by her to save the Odia film industry has been withdrawn. The movement was started by Sanlisha Patel. Many artists have been involved in it.Today that is on Tuesday, famous directors Sabyasachi Mohapatra, Maheshwata Ray, Akhil Patnaik, Buddhaditya Mohanty along with Sunlisha met Hemant Sharma.

There was a discussion for about two hours about the five demands of Sunlisha and the senior artists. Sun Lisha and senior artists have been promised to fulfill the demands.It is to be noted here that Sanlisha, who is the producer of Odia film ‘Pratha’ launched an indefinite dharna on Thursday demanding justice for Odia films.

Ollywood producer Sanlisha had placed several demands before the State government including making Odia films tax-free and interference of administration in sectors like film distribution and producers’ association.
