New Delhi: A tragic case has come to light from Delhi in which a 2 year old girl has died. The incident happened on Wednesday. The girl died while she was in her aunt’s lap. Actually the aunt was crossing the road with the child. Then a car hit her hard due to which she lost her balance and fell from her lap. The girl suffered serious injuries in this accident. He was also taken to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.
The incident took place in Motibagh area of Delhi where an aunt was crossing the road with a child in her lap on Wednesday. She had gone across the road to get milk. This accident happened while returning. Aunty also suffered minor injuries in this. The girl lived under her parents’ seven Motibagh flyover. The father is a laborer while the mother works as a roadside toy seller.
When this incident happened, the girl’s father Ram had gone out for work. According to the report of Times of India, Ram Phul said that another person working with him got a call to inform about the accident. The aunt told that he used to go across the road to buy milk. We were returning back on Wednesday. I was holding milk in one hand and the baby in the other. Then suddenly a white car hit me hard and I lost my balance and fell down. The girl also fell from my hand.
She further told that as soon as she woke up, she saw the girl unconscious and blood was also flowing from her head. By then many vehicles also passed by there. She immediately picked up the girl and took her to the family. After this he was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead. The police said that CCTVs are being scanned to investigate this matter. He told that he had also gone to the spot of the incident but neither any vehicle nor any eyewitness was found there. A case has been registered under sections 279 and 304 of IPC.
The victim’s family members told that they are residents of Bhilwara, Rajasthan and have been living under the Motibagh flyover for the last 15 years. A family member told that 10-12 people sleep under and near the flyover and are connected to each other.
