2 arrested including doctor for drug smuggling
Yamunanagar. In Yamunanagar, Anti Narcotic Cell team arrested an accused with banned medicines. During interrogation, he told about the main smuggler who turned out to be a doctor running a clinic in a rural area.
The police also arrested him and presented him in the court, after which he was sent to jail. 240 Tramadol capsules were recovered from the accused.
Incharge Balraj Singh said that the team received information that a young man was standing with banned medicines at Vishwakarma Chowk.
On information, Sub Inspector Ramkumar Satish Kumar, ASI Mehar Lal Birbal, Rajendra Sandeep Kamal Pradeep were sent to the spot, the youth was caught. Upon search, banned medicines were recovered from him. The accused was identified as Ajay alias Ashu, resident of Ishopur.
