Vehicle fell into ditch, six Kashmiri workers died

Shimla. A pickup went out of control and fell into a ditch on Monday morning in Karadghat of Sunni police station area near the capital Shimla. In this accident, six workers traveling in the pickup truck died and six others were seriously injured. The injured were taken to IGMC hospital.

According to the information, 12 laborers were going from Sunni to Mandi in a van. At around 7 am in the morning, his pickup truck went out of control and fell into a ditch in Karadghat. After receiving information about this incident, which took place about 35 kilometers from Shimla, police reached the spot and started emergency rescue operations. Police rescued people from the ditch with the help of local residents. Three people traveling in the pickup died on the spot, three others died in the hospital. Police took the injured to IGMC hospital.

According to the police, all the laborers who were victims of the accident are of Kashmiri origin. The four people killed in the accident were identified as Farid, Ghulam, Shabbir and Talib, while the other two could not be identified. ASP Shimla Sunil Negi said that six people from Jammu and Kashmir traveling in a pickup truck died in the accident. The remaining six injured are being treated at IGMC. According to him, a case has been registered and the reasons for the incident are being clarified.
