Robbery from pickup driver at gunpoint
Guhla. Around 20 lakh 50 thousand rupees were looted from a pickup driver near Lilas turn on National Highway 52 at around 5 pm on Tuesday evening. Some miscreants stopped the car in front of the vehicle and carried out the robbery at gunpoint and fled from the spot. Took the phone from a passerby and informed his boss and the police. After which the police reached the incident site and started investigation. According to the information, Sombir Siwani, a resident of village Bhagela, Rajasthan left for Bhagela with about Rs 24 lakh from the grain market.
Driver Sombir bought the plow in Siwani itself and also paid about Rs 3.5 lakh. Driver Sombir told that he stopped a car ahead near Lil Mod on the National Highway coming out of Siwani. Out of which two miscreants came to him and asked for money. When he did not pay the money, he hit him on the head with the butt of the gun. After which he withdrew the money and gave it. While leaving, the miscreants also took away his phone. Took the phone from a passerby and informed the owner about the incident. After receiving the information, police and CIA team reached the spot. Police station in-charge Sukhbir Singh Jakhar said that information about the case is being collected.
