Tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar

Bangana. A program was organized on the death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar at Thanakalan of Bangana sub-division. In which Himachal BJP Vice President and former minister Virendra Kanwar participated and paid homage. He said in his address that when the BJP government was formed in Himachal for the second time, Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ambeder was immediately made the Chief Minister. Ambedkar Bhavan was built by Prof.

Prem Kumar Dhumal in 68 districts of Himachal Pradesh at a cost of Rs 10 lakh each. Kanwar said that Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, who wrote the Constitution of India, was a great economist, jurist, politician, social reformer and political leader. He did a lot of work for the Dalit caste. He wanted to eliminate discrimination from the society. Kanwar said that he inspired people for the Dalit Buddhist movement and campaigned against the discrimination against untouchables in the society. He always talked about the rights of workers, farmers and women.

He died on 6 December 1956. Therefore, Ambedkar’s death anniversary is celebrated on this day. Kanwar said that according to Wikipedia, Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was born on 14 April 1891. His family was of Marathi background from the town of Ambadave (Mandangadh taluka) in Ratnagiri district of modern Maharashtra. Kanwar said that Ambedkar was born in the Mahar (Dalit) caste. Those who were considered untouchable and subjected to socio-economic discrimination.

Ambedkar’s ancestors had long worked for the British East India Company’s army and his father served in the British Indian Army at Mhow Cantonment. Father Ramji Sakpal retired in 1894 and two years later the family moved to Satara. Kanwar said that Ramji moved to Mumbai with the Sakpal family and in April 1906, when Bhimrao was about 15 years old, he was married to a nine-year-old girl, Ramabai. Kanwar said that at that time he was studying in fifth English class. Was an Indian jurist, economist, social reformer and political leader. Who led the committee that drafted the Constitution of India from the Constituent Assembly debates, served as Minister of Law and Justice in the first cabinet.
