A boy arrested with illegal weapon

Dholpur. Nihalganj police station of Dholpur has arrested a young man with illegal weapon. Police has also detained a minor along with the youth. Police has recovered 315 bore country made pistol and 2 cartridges from them. The police is interrogating the arrested youth in connection with the purchase and sale of weapons. The accused will be produced in the court on Thursday afternoon. Station in-charge Vijay Meena said that on Wednesday evening, information was received from the informer that two people were roaming on Odela Road carrying illegal weapons, who were trying to commit a criminal incident. After the information of the informer, Head Constable Dayal Chand reached the spot with the police team. Seeing the police, both the people started running. After this, the police arrested the accused Narayan (19) son of Jagannath, resident of Mahua Kheda police station Kanchanpur and detained a 17-year-old minor along with him. On search, a 315 bore country made pistol and two cartridges were found with both of them. The police have arrested Narayan under the Arms Act and are probing the sale and purchase of arms.
