A Lorry Hit A Car In Mulugu District

Mulugu: A road accident took place on National Highway 163 in Mallampalli mandal center of Mulugu district. A large-scale traffic jam occurred when a lorry and a bus collided with a car of devotees going to Medaram. Due to this, devotees going to Medaram are facing severe difficulties as they are stuck in traffic. After receiving information, the police reached the spot and are trying to clear the traffic. Meanwhile, devotees have flocked to Medaram jatara. With the arrival of consecutive Sankranti holidays, devotees are flocking to Medaram in large numbers. They are paying their obeisances to the goddesses in advance.
Devotees who have reached Medaram are taking holy dips on both sides of the Jampanna stream. Later, they reach the shrine of Sammakka-Saralamma, Govindaraju, and Pagiddaraja and offer turmeric, saffron, and jaggery and pay oblations. Due to this, there is a huge crowd of devotees at the shrine of Sammakka. Due to the huge influx of devotees, there is a traffic jam at Pasra-Medaram. Meanwhile, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka and Telangana ministers will visit Medaram on Sunday and pay oblations. Later, they will review the development works of the fair.
