A meeting was held at Raj Bhavan regarding the preparation of the Welcome Ceremony

Raipur: On Independence Day, a “Welcome Ceremony” will be organized at Raj Bhavan from 5:30 pm in the presence of Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan. This will honour soldiers’ relatives, freedom fighters, citizens awarded with Padma Shri/ Padma Bhushan, public representatives, women, administrative officers, and youth who have enhanced the pride of the state.

The Secretary to the Governor, Amrit Kumar Xalxo, chaired this meeting at Raj Bhavan. The officials discussed topics including cleaning, electricity arrangements, invitation letters, guest arrangements, and security procedures for the ceremony. Necessary instructions were given to the concerned officials.

Deputy Secretary to Governor Deepak Agarwal, Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Raipur, Mayank Chaturvedi, officials of Raj Bhavan, Public Works Department, Municipal Corporation, C.S.E.B. and officers of other related departments were present in the meeting.
