A state-of-the-art archery academy will be built in Jashpur.

Raipur. A state-of-the-art archery academy refers to an academy where players receive world-class training, modern equipment, and excellent facilities (such as hostels, indoor/outdoor ranges) to enable them to perform well at the national and international levels. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Jashpur district has received another major gift in the direction of expanding sports facilities. Approval has been granted for the construction of a state-of-the-art archery academy (archery center) in Pandara Path of Bagicha development block in the district. NTPC Limited has sanctioned ₹20.53 crore from its CSR fund for the construction of this ambitious project.

An excellent training center for young archers

The new archery academy will provide international-level sports facilities to the rural and tribal youth of the district. This initiative will prove crucial in making Jashpur a hub for national and international archery talent in the future. This is another major example of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s commitment to nurturing sporting talent and taking them to the world stage. With the establishment of the academy, Jashpur will not only create a new identity in the field of sports, but it will also emerge as an excellent training center for young archers in the country. Financial support from NTPC’s Corporate Social Responsibility department

NTPC Limited will provide financial support for the construction of the archery academy under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme. Construction of outdoor and air-conditioned indoor archery ranges, a high-performance training center, and a hostel are proposed. The youth of Jashpur are enthusiastic about this announcement and have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai.
