A Student Died Due To An Electric Shock At A School In Nagarkurnool District
Nagarkurnool: A student died of electric shock in Indrakal village of Tadur mandal in Nagarkurnool district on Tuesday. Going into details, Lokesh (14), the eldest son of Mallesh and Lakshmamma from Indrakal village, was studying in class 9 at a local high school. Lokesh, who went to school as usual, touched a live wire attached to a pillar attached to the school’s boundary wall.
He collapsed on the spot due to shock as electricity was already supplied to him. His fellow students who noticed him immediately informed the school teachers, who rushed him to the Nagarjuna Government Hospital in a car, where doctors declared him dead. The family members are crying and lamenting. Locals are alleging that the student died of electric shock due to the negligence of the electricity authorities.
