A teenage girl was kidnapped and raped in Kharora and was found unconscious in a field.
Raipur. A minor girl has been raped in Kharora, Raipur. The incident has caused widespread uproar in the area. On the night of September 17th, a Ramayan program was held there, which the minor victim had gone to attend with her mother and sister. After the program ended, when she returned home at around 12:30 a.m., her mother and sister went inside. The victim had just stepped out to lock the door when two masked men on a motorcycle forcibly abducted her. The two men, riding on a motorcycle, covered the 16-year-old girl with a cloth and took her to a deserted field about two kilometers away, committing the brutality. After satisfying their lust, the men left her unconscious and fled. When the victim’s sister didn’t see her at home, she repeatedly called her phone, but the call was not answered. When she regained consciousness that morning, she called her family and told them the entire story, but was unable to tell them where she was. Just then, a young man from the village reported that the girl was lying in a field. The parents brought her home and sought the help of both the police and the hospital.
After the incident, the police, upon investigating, discovered that the victim had previously known the accused, Punendu alias Jassi Dhiwar, and had gone with him late at night. During the night between September 17th and 18th, the accused, along with his friend Lalla Yadav, took a bike and went to the girl’s house to pick her up. His friend Lalla Yadav was driving the vehicle. Jassi took the victim to a newly constructed house in Farhada village and had sexual intercourse with her. As he was leaving the village, many people had gathered in front of the girl’s house, so Jassi, fearing the situation, left.
Then they went back to the room and waited, after which Jassi and the girl went from Kosrangi via Ghivra, Azad Chowk to Kharora, Navagaon, Beltukri, Sundara, then leaving the car there, both of them walked and dropped the minor girl at her home. Then Jassi took his car back to his village Farhada and slept at home. At present, according to the police, the girl also told that the accused Punendu had physical relations with her. The police have registered an FIR in Raipur under zero rape sections and arrested both the accused Punendu alias Jassi Dhiwar and Lalla Yadav and the minor victim has been admitted to a hospital in Raipur. Where her condition is said to be stable, at present the family members have appealed for justice.
