Abandoned newborn baby girl rescued from Bolangir DHH, Odisha
Bolangir: In a shocking incident, an abandoned newborn baby girl was rescued from Bolangir District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Odisha on Saturday.
According to reliable reports, a newborn baby girl was rescued by the staff of the government hospital in the early morning hours after they heard her cries. The girl is said to be in a critical condition.
The abandoned baby girl was rescued from near the bathroom of the obstetrics and gynaecology department of the Bolangir District Headquarter Hospital (DHH), said reports.
It is worth mentioning that, the baby girl is said to a day or two days old. The staff immediately took her to a doctor, who checked her health condition and said that she is critically ill.
The rescued new born baby girl was then immediately shifted and is being treated in the ICU of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department, said latest reports.
It is alleged that the mother of the girl abandoned her and went away after giving birth. The local police have reached the spot and is investigating into the matter. Detailed reports awaited.
