‘Abus’ type flights will operate from Trichy to Chennai from December 16 to 31

Tamil Nadu: To facilitate travel for more passengers during the festive and holiday season, larger, bus-like flights will be operated from Trichy to Chennai from December 16 to 31.

S.S. Raju, Director of Trichy International Airport, said on Thursday:

Six flights are operating daily from Trichy to Chennai. The current ATR flights can only carry 72 passengers. Keeping the holidays in mind, larger APS-like flights will be operated from Trichy to Chennai from December 16 to 31. These flights can carry up to 200 passengers. He said these flights will operate daily, both morning and evening.
