Accident during sand smuggling, driver dies

Korba. A tractor driver who was illegally smuggling sand in the district died. The speeding tractor went out of control and overturned, due to which the driver came under him and died on the spot. The matter is of Civil Line police station area.

According to the information, illegal smuggling of sand was being done near Karamandi drain under Civil Line police station. On Wednesday morning, the driver was leaving after loading sand in the tractor, where due to his haste, the speeding tractor went out of control and overturned. The driver died after being buried under the engine. When the passers-by noticed him, they informed the Civil Line police station.
