Accident in Raipur-Bhilai NH 56, youth died
Durg: In Bhilai, a speeding trailer hit two people including a woman on Raipur-Bhilai NH 56. The collision was so strong that the young man died on the spot, while the condition of the woman is said to be critical. He is being treated at the District Hospital Durg.
According to information received from family members, Ganga Sagar Yadav (38), son of Jangli Yadav, lived near Sharma Ashram in Zone 3, Khursipar. He used to do guard duty at night and collect scrap during the day. Was crossing the road near Power House Chowk Durga Dharam Kanta around 1 pm on Sunday afternoon. Meanwhile, the trailer took two people in its grip. The woman was thrown away due to the collision, while Ganga Sagar came under the trailer.
The people present nearby informed the Khursipar police. Police station in-charge Umend Kumar Tandon reached the spot and sent both of them to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital. Where the doctors declared Ganga Sagar dead. His body has been kept in the mortuary. Since the condition of the injured woman is serious, she has been referred to Durg District Hospital. Police have also arrested trailer driver Komal Verma.
