Accident in residential colony, balcony of house fell
Korba: The balcony of the house of B type quarter number B-25 of SECL Deepka Urja Nagar residential colony collapsed. It was fortunate that the employee’s family members did not come into JD and a major accident was averted. In this house of residential colony, Mohd. Rasool Ahmed’s family lives there. He said that there is negligence in the maintenance work of houses in residential colonies.
Calls to the mobile number issued by the company management regarding the problems of the colony remain unanswered. Hearing the sound of the balcony falling, they came out. All the members were inside the house, hence a major accident was averted. INTUC’s JCC member DK Mishra says that a number has been issued for online complaints but calls are not received. Despite complaints that the house is in bad condition, maintenance work is not done.
