Accused of raping a minor arrested

Dongargaon. Under the instructions of Superintendent of Police Rajnadgaon Mohit Garg and the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Rahul Dev Sharma and Additional Superintendent of Police Dongargaon Dilip Singh Sisodia and under the leadership of Police Station Incharge Inspector Upendra Kumar Shah, a case registered in Dongargaon police station, seriousness under Section 363 Bhadvi. Taking cognizance, the address of the kidnapper was ascertained and the accused was being searched, the kidnapper was booked on 19.01.24 and a statement under Section 161 of the Indian Penal Code was made to the lady officer.

According to the statement of the victim, sections 366, 376, 376 (2) (n) of IPC, 4,6 POCSO Act have been added to the case. And accused Rahul Gaikwad, father Hambirao Gaikwad, aged 29 years, resident of Kognori police station Nipani, district Belgaum (Karnataka) was duly arrested on 21.01.24 at the time of giving reason for arrest and information about the arrest has been given to the family members. Since the case is non-bailable, the accused has been sent on judicial remand.
