Action taken against psychotropic drugs dealer, 4 arrested
Durg: A cache of drugs has been seized in Durg district. Cantonment police have seized 3260 pieces of Tramadol capsules and Alfazolam tablets worth Rs 2.5 lakh and arrested four accused. A minor accused is also included among the arrested accused.
Durg SP Shalabh Kumar Sinha said that he has alerted the anti-crime unit and the police of all the police stations to stop the drug trade in Durg district. Cantonment police station in-charge Monica Pandey got information from the informer that some people were looking for customers to sell drugs.
After this, the joint team of police station in-charge Monica Pandey and ACCU in-charge Chandrashekhar Soni laid siege near Camp-2 Link Road Mosque and arrested 4 people. The arrested accused have arrested Vinay Bafna resident of Jalebi Chowk Camp 1 Bhilai, Parmanand Sahu resident of Sharda Para Camp 2 Bhilai, Shravan Kumar Tati resident of Sector 06 Bhilai and a minor boy.
