Actor Ankit Gupta feels proud of the increasing popularity of Hindi language
Mumbai (IANS). Actor Ankit Gupta, who plays the character of ‘Jahan’ in the musical romantic drama ‘Junooniyat’, said that he feels proud to see the increasing popularity of Hindi language across the world. He talked about the use of language during his television journey.
With a blend of love, music and ambition, ‘Junooniyat’ has taken the audience on an unforgettable journey. Driven by the captivating performances of Ankit as Jahaan, Gautam Singh Vig as Jordan and Neha Rana as Ilahi, the show has woven a tale of complex emotions.
14th September will be celebrated as ‘Hindi Day’. This day comes as an occasion which underlines the importance of Hindi language.
Talking about the same, Ankit shared, “When I see the growing popularity of Hindi, my heart swells with pride, a language that is in my blood. Many people from other countries are adopting Hindi words. I am from Meerut where Hindi is spoken.
“I love seeing how differently the language is spoken in different regions of India. Throughout my journey in the television industry, I have used Hindi,” the 34-year-old actor said.

Meanwhile, Ankit was also a part of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 16’. He also played the lead role of Fateh Singh Virk in the family drama ‘Udaariyaan’, produced by Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey.
