Actor Pawan Singh will contest elections against Shatrughan Sinha

New Delhi. BJP has released its first list of 195 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections-2024. This time, Bhojpuri film industry actor Pawan Singh has been fielded against Bollywood actor and TMC MP Shatrughan Sinha from Asansol, West Bengal.

Actually, Asansol seat is one of the most high profile seats of West Bengal. Trinamool Congress had already decided to field Bihari Babu Shatrughan Sinha. Now BJP has decided to field Bhojpuri film industry actor Pawan Singh. At the same time, Soumandu Adhikari, brother of Suvendu Adhikari, has been fielded from Kanthi.
