Bhilai Corporation is continuously running a voter awareness campaign to ensure 100 percent voting. Under this, on Tuesday, women of National Urban Livelihood Mission applied mehendi on their hands on election topics in the community hall located at Shri Ram Chowk Khursipar. A large number of women and girls participated in the program organized from 1 pm onwards, saying that voting is our right, voting is necessary for the development of the country, leave all the work, vote first, etc. Slogans like this were carved with henna and then someone made a voting booth, voting machine. , symbol of election, figure of vote for future, applying mehendi and explaining the importance of every vote, appealed to vote compulsorily in the assembly elections on 17th November.
On the instructions of Bhilai Corporation Commissioner and Returning Officer of Bhilainagar Assembly Rohit Vyas, starting the awareness campaign from Navratri i.e. 15th October, oath was administered to different sections of the society for 9 consecutive days to vote under the 9 resolutions of Navratri. In the second phase, keeping in mind all sections of the society, bike rallies and races will be organized at some places. Programs like songs, music, torch procession, Rangoli, Deepotsav will also be organized in entertaining ways to make the voters aware.
Will form human chain –
Cycle rally at Central Avenue on 1st November, human chain will be formed in various localities of Bhilai by the women of National Urban Livelihood Mission on 2nd November. On November 3, a human chain will be formed on the Central Avenue road and a race will be organized to create awareness among the voters. Bike rally will be organized on 4th November, Shramdaan will be organized in all the polling stations under the Assembly on 5th November and Cultural Evening on the theme of elections will be organized at the Civic Center on 6th November. The torch procession will be taken out on the evening of 7th November. On November 8, women and girls will make rangoli on the theme of voting and on the evening of November 9, a festival of lights will be organized.
