After killing the woman and stuffing it in a bag, the police reached the accused by flight

New Delhi: The body of a woman was found inside a bag in Vishwas Nagar area of Delhi. Now in this case, Delhi Police has arrested the woman’s fiance from Mumbai. Actually the police suspected that the woman was murdered by her fiance. He was said to be absconding since the incident. However, a day after the incident i.e. on Monday, the accused fiance was arrested. It is being told that after killing the woman, the accused had fled to Mumbai by train.

On November 26, at 4.30 pm, the police received information that a suspicious bag was found in a room, after which the police reached the spot and recovered the body from the bag. Giving information about this case, the police said that as soon as they came to know that the accused was the woman’s fiance and he had fled to Mumbai, a police team immediately reached Mumbai by flight and arrested him. The accused has been identified as Sultan.

Shahdara Deputy Commissioner Rohit Meena said that during initial interrogation, the accused confessed to murdering the woman by strangulating her. However, the exact reason behind the murder will be known only after detailed interrogation.

According to the information, information about the suspicious bag was given to the police by a delivery agent working there. That woman was also a friend of another person working there. A scarf was found tied around the woman’s neck, which suggested it was used to strangle her. After this, a case of murder was registered at Farsh Bazar police station and investigation was started.
