Air India Express Pilot Virendra Sejwal Arrested for Hitting Passenger, Released on Bail

New Delhi: It is known that a passenger was beaten up by an Air India Express pilot at the Delhi airport a few days ago. However, the pilot was arrested and later released. The case is currently being investigated by the Delhi Police. The pilot has been identified as Virendra Sejwal. Captain Virendra was arrested based on the complaint given by the passenger. However, the police said that the sections registered against him were suitable for bail and the pilot was released after the formalities were completed. The police said that further investigation in this case will continue based on the witnesses and evidence.

Police said that after registering a case, a summons has been issued to the accused. He has been arrested as part of the investigation. Police said that pilot Virendra Sejwal is cooperating with the investigation. On December 19, an argument broke out between Ankit and the pilot during a security check at Terminal 1 at Delhi airport. At that time, the pilot attacked Ankit by verbally abusing him.
