Mumbai: Tamil actress Aishwarya Rajesh, who recently appeared in the Telugu film Sankranthi Vastunnama and is known for her powerful performances in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi cinema, has shared a disturbing personal experience from her early days in the film industry.

In a recent interview, the actress revealed that she faced harassment when she was very young and new to films. Aishwarya recalled going to a studio with her brother, believing it was a professional opportunity. However, the photographer asked her brother to wait outside, leaving her alone with him. She recounted that the photographer gave her lingerie and asked her to wear it, demanding to see her body, claiming it was part of the audition process. This incident left her frightened and confused, as she was so young at the time that she didn’t fully understand how the industry worked.

Aishwarya admitted that she almost believed the man, thinking that such demands might be normal in the film industry. She said that if the conversation had continued for a few more minutes, she might have even complied. However, her gut feeling warned her that something was wrong.

Trusting her intuition, she told the photographer that she needed her brother’s permission before proceeding and immediately left. She never told her brother about the incident afterward, but said that the experience still haunts her, especially when she thinks about how many other young women the same man might have misled or exploited.
