Alert issued regarding new JN.1 variant of Corona in Raipur

Raipur. The new variant of Corona has again increased the concern. Alert has been issued in Chhattisgarh regarding JN.1 variant. According to the guidelines issued by the Health Department, now Covid testing will be increased in all the districts. Also, samples will be sent to Raipur AIIMS where it will be seen whether the new variant of Covid is spreading in Chhattisgarh. Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department, Renu G Pillay has issued orders to all the collectors of Chhattisgarh. It is written in the government order that at present the situation of Corona is under control in Chhattisgarh.

Cases of new variants have been reported in Kerala, due to which the scope of investigation will be increased in Chhattisgarh. The order has been issued by the Health Department to all the collectors. In which it is said that Covid-19 infection is under control but it is important to keep an eye on its constantly changing variants. Corona cases have increased in some states of the country including Kerala. Although the new variant has not been identified in Chhattisgarh, there is a need to exercise caution at the district level. Guidelines have also been issued for this.
