Ameesha Patel did not reach court today

Ranchi: Statement of Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel and her business partner Kunal Grumar was to be recorded today in the check bounce case. Ameesha Patel was accused by Ranchi film producer Ajay Kumar Singh of check bounce, fraud and threats. Ameesha is accused of taking Rs 2.5 crore from Ranchi-based filmmaker Ajay Kumar Singh for the promotion and publicity of a film. The money was to be returned with interest after the completion of the film. But this film, which started in 2013, was not being completed. According to the contract between the two, when the film did not release in June 2018, Ajay demanded money from Ameesha. After much procrastination, two checks of Rs 2.5 crore and Rs 50 lakh were given in October 2018, which bounced. After this Ajay Singh has filed a case in Ranchi Civil Court.
